FERNANDO MONEDERO (Tenerife, 1983) SOUND DESIGNER

Musician, sound designer, producer, and sound technician. He started as a guitarist at the age of 15 and has since been involved in music and sound, mainly from Madrid where he lives.

As a multi-instrumentalist musician, he has led the foleyproject project and carried out numerous music works for film, documentary, and advertising. In addition to his work as a producer, he has worked with various records of Spanish scene groups (TUYA, Fuckaine, Benévola, Ángela Brun, …) and his own music. He continues in this line as a resident at Los Invernaderos studio in Madrid.

In the music industry, he has worked as a live sound technician, mainly FOH in multiple concert halls and national and international tours, as well as holding positions of Technical Direction of Festivals, Stage Manager, and Production. Lately he design the new venue in the Wizink Center.

Regarding sound design for theater and installation, he has been working mainly with multichannel systems for pieces by La Señorita Blanco, Ojo Último, Lucía Díaz-Tejeiro in different spaces such as Teatro Español, Teatros del Canal, las Naves del Matadero de Madrid, Escuela Conia in Cesena, Teatro Pavón, Capilla Iglesia San Sebastián,…

At this moment, what interests him most is creating immersive spaces using Ambisonic and Multichannel technology to intervene in scenic and exhibition contexts.
